Great sound!
Alison and Union Station and Kacey Musgraves were both awesome! The sound was incredible and the music was great. Most of the drunks came to see Havok and by the time Alison came on they were really drunk and loud. A few negatives...too many loud drunks for one. Havok is getting old and talks too much instead of singing but when he does sing he still sounds great. Since I couldn't really see them I wanted to at least hear them. They didn't care if anyone else could hear or not. Probably because we have vendor managed beer tents? Why were they served so much beer? I paid to see and hear all three acts. It's all about the money! If you priced the beer at a reasonable amount like $4 instead of $7, you would have more people drinking and then could limit how many each person can have, just like at a beerfest. Then you would make as much or more money off the beer and have a lot less drunks and a lot more happy people that would be more apt to come back or recommend a friend. The "security" was useless and there were way too few portapottis, especially with all the heavy beer drinkers. Lines of 20+ people means you better be able to hold it. Finally, the seats suck! Narrow cheap plastic seats zip tied together. I weigh 150 lbs and the sets were just big enough for me. It was fun sitting next to an overweight person and the seat killed my back. I only gave it three stars because all the acts were awesome. The venue is very poorly managed! Never again!
